But.....

But.....I already had my ticket to Richmond!!!!!...which was suuuuper-ueber-expensive!...didn't matter at that point. A few weeks later in August I traveled to the States. Eric had started his job at University of Richmond (EXO for the ROTC program) and rented an apartment on Hanover Street in the Fan of Richmond. The place was very empty since his furniture had not arrived yet. We still had a great time exploring the town and shopping for furniture. We were very happy! Of course I had to go back after a couple of weeks just to find out I didn't get a job in Germany. But it didn't matter 'cause...... I already had my next ticket back to Richmond in my pocket!!!!!

...

After the formal (I had a terrible cold) he took me to an Alanis Morisette concert, treated me to quite a few dinners, made pancakes and his famous chicken parmesan (just for me!!!), got me Dr.Pepper and Tylenol from the comissary, he took me to Koeln,
to a concert on Post in Katterbach, shopping and so much more. He was the perfect man!!! ...and he still is! I had a wonderful time and I think he did, too. It was just too good to be true- I was in heaven (but still kinda messed up my finals as usual). Time to say good bye came closer fast and together we cleaned his apartment in Wicklesgreuth- ...and because we were together as much as possible we didn't mind working hard to get his old place sparkle-clean. Then by the end of July he had to leave. I was really very sad and cried.

How it all began....

It all began when I met Eric in Germany (March 2005 at Jeffrey Berg's housewarming party....just before my finals). Our first "date" was his last formal in Germany. That was in April- just a few months before he had to go back to the States.
So we had basically 2 months left together.
