German Academy 2009

Last Wednesday I arrived in Richmond, VA for the German Academy 2009. I will be the directress again and I am looking very forward to it, although it also means a lot of stress- but it's fun stress...most of the time at least!!! Because of this I will probably not be able to write much BUT the Academy will have a blog as well!!!! One of my RAs and some students will take care of it and hopefully post many pictures and comment on them- it will be all in German though...because it is still the Deutschakademie!!!! The pics will speak their own language and I am sure everybody will enjoy them! You all have a good 3 weeks!

Here are some pics of 1 2/2 day old Hannes!!!!!...I'm glad he's not all wrinkly and purple...he actually looks kinda cute for a newborn!!!











From what I know (...cus nobody ain't talking to me...) my sister's water broke Sunday night but nothing else happened- then the doctors induced the birth Monday afternoon and schwuuupppps there he was!...finally....

My new nephew

...has just arrived!!!!! He weighs 3500g and is 51cm long!!!! ...oh..and his name will be "Hannes"!
