Nina and "TickTack-Opa"

In Germany we call our greatgrandparents "Ur-Grosseltern"- "Ur-" sounds like "Uhr" which means clock. Paul, Nina's German cousin, calls a clock a "ticktack"- that's why my grandfather is Nina's TickTack-Opa!!!

Nina and her TickTack-Opa "talking":

Flowers for me!

My mom and Opa got some flowers and planted them in pots on the porch- it looks gorgeous!!!

That's what our evenings look like:

Yummmmmy hands!!!

Friday we went to the outlet mall in Round Rock. My Opa, Nina's Greatgrandpa was the perfect baby sitter, baby entertainer, baby holder, stroller pusher,...

We had a lot of fun that day!!!

Welcome Home Ceremony for some of our TF ODIN-A 1 soldiers

On Wednesday, my grandfather, mom, Nina and I went to a Welcome Home Ceremony. It was very emotional seeing all the families waiting for their loved ones to come home. Here's the excited crowd:

Here's MY crowd (it was really loud with music playing and people yelling and whistleling(?)- Nina did NOT like all that noise):
