Christmas with the Robertsons

This year we were so lucky to host our very good friends M. and B. with their boys Leo and Peter for a couple of days before Christmas. The kids had a great time but also needed a lot of attention- that's why I don't really have a lot of good pictures of that visit. I really regret not remembering to take the camera everywhere. On the 23rd the guys made dinner- turkey!!! It was delicious!!! After the meal we exchanged presents! the kids had a blast!!!

Santa comes by plane, right?

Yesterday we went to the 204th Holiday party. It was held, where else?, at the airfield and the hangar! Nina had to take her baby with her and pushed it in it's stroller all over the place! As soon as she saw the bouncy house her doll was abandoned.
When it was time to meet santa, who arrived in a real plane on Biggs airfield outside the hangar just minutes before!!!, she decided that she wasn't in the mood for it and hung on to Papa instead!

Projects, projects, projects!!!

Hi guys!

Since Eric is working and not home a lot I've started some projects that I do after Nina's in bed .... it's very dangerous when I do arts and crafts when she's around ... paper, tape, paint, fabric, etc. gets kidnapped and/or hidden ... I found a glue stick in the laundry ... and tape INSIDE my pjs??!!!!

Here's a mobile for the baby's room I've been working on. It's going right above the changing table.



These planes are above the rocker so that he's got something to look at while nursing. There're still some pieces missing though...don't know yet what - maybe another trip to Michaels will do the trick?



And last but not least Nina's Halloween costume!!! She's going to be a little lamb and Eric'll probably dress up as a farmer! I just started here- it's a black hoodie covered in cotton balls. Big black floppy ears will go on the sides. I can't wait to see if this works out!

Our new backyard!!!

Labor day weekend our backyard finally got it's makeover!!! It took 10 guys, a bobcat, lots of material and about 2 days to get it all done!!!! We're so happy to finally have a livable outdoor space and not a dirt pile anymore.
