NINA CLEMENTINE JANKOWSKI

I know it's been a while!! But things got pretty busy here last week! I started to feel mild cramping last Wednesday (Feb.3) morning and didn't think much of it at first. My mom and I had breakfast as usual and got ready for the day when the pain got stronger and stronger- I still thought it was false labor pain (since I felt the pain only in the front and the books say that those cramps were false labor pains!?). Finally as the pain got so bad that I had to say HELOOOOO to my breakfast again we decided to go to the hospital to get checked out. As we arrived around 11:45 am I was in  (what I thought) a lot of pain. At the triage they decided to keep me there and transfered me to a birthing suite. The pain got really bad and I DEMANDED an epidural. It turned out there was no time for that and Nina was born at 14:16!!!! Enough talking now, here are some pictures:

Between contractions I squeezed out a smile for the camera!

The first contact

With Eric on the phone. He called about every ten minutes during my labor- I tell you it was very difficult to talk and breathe right while screaming down the whole unit!!!!
