Our Thanksgiving weekend

Hello everybody and belated Happy Thanksgiving to those I didn't talk to!

Tuesday a week ago my Mom headed back to Germany- I miss her since she walked through the TSA. Well, we had a great time, as usual, and will repeat that the next time she comes to the States! DANKE, MA, ES WAR TOTAL SCHOEN MIT DIR!!!!! My Dad is next- he'll come visit me in January and I am already very excited to see my old man!
So the day my Ma left I drove to Dothan,AL dropped Nelson off at a place called Bed and Bisquits and went to Eric's hotel. The next day we made our way to Watkinsville, GA, where Eric's cousin Kristen and her family lives. The drive wasn't too bad but we were glad to finally arrive around 10:30 at night. The next 2 days we, Eric-I-Pat-Don (who came down from OH)-Kristen-Mike-Marina-Alexander and little Xavier, spent talking, playing, eating, resting, watching tv and laughing. It was great to see them all again and be surrounded by family! The days were just wonderful (for more info/stories on/about the Froehlichs go to their blog thefroehlichfamily.blogspot.com -> I love reading it!!!!).
THANKS Kristen-Mike-Marina-Alexander and little Xavier!!!!!!

Here's Eric sneak-hugging his Mom!!!

Marina and Alexander fighting a paper-sword fight, wearing homemade paper pirate gear!

Don (making funny noises) and little Xavier (sucking on a plastic cow)

The little sunshine!!!

I decided to learn how to knit with help of my mother in law. I never thought I would like it, but it seems to be a very relaxing and productive winter thing! Here're my first few loops:

Saturday after lunch Eric and I drove to Columbus, GA to see the Robertsons. As we arrived the roast was already roasting! What great friends, he?! We had a good time with them and Peter (now around 6 months) is a real cutie!!!!
THANKS, Michelle, Brian and Peter!!!!!!!
