dog day!

Last night (Friday) Bailey, my friend Daniela's little Beagle, stayed with us. Daniela's daughter had a Karate competition in a town further away (sorry, can't remember!).....in MESA (thanks for your comment, Daniela!!!)and they had to leave reeeeheeeeahly early Saturday morning. Nelson and Bailey were both happy and wrestled for at least 3 hours around the coffee table. After that both layed down totally pooped out and slept great that night.
Eric and I had signed up for the mutt march on Saturday:

At 7:30am we arrived at the park, got our hot yellow ts and marched our "mutts".

Waterbreak at the gas station:

What a nice view along the way:

".....Dude, did you see the new Audi?"

".....how about a new doghouse from Lowes?"

"...dummmdidummmmdidummmm...."

The entire walk was about 5ks and the dogs had a lot of fun sniffing and marking everything along the way.

Almost done!

Sniffin' and makin' friends!

After we got home the dogs had their breakfast and ......guess what happened next....

While my 3 boys were napping/working on the chevelle I walked Liberty and Bandit, our friends' and neighbors' (Stefanie and Joe) Shiba Inus(?). Stef and Joe participated in a running event in Tucson and asked me to look after their dogs for that day. No problem!!! They both walked great with me and had fun sniffing.

Back at home Nelson, Bailey and I had some afternoon cuddles:

Guess what happened next....

Sleeeeeeeepyyyyh doggies!!!!

It was a good day with lots of dog slobber!

Looks like they enjoyed the naps the most. Good talking to you two. Have a good week. It is bedtime.
