He's always wanted to renovate a car- one of his childhood dreams (thanks, Don!). Ok, I really liked her. She was old, cute and had her own mind.
Well, remember those months when Eric had to go to Washington State for two months? Yeah....this is when it all happened. In June/July 2006 while browsing through all his car forums (or is it fora?...sounds stupid) he came upon a contest where you could win a makeover for your car. So, bored as he was he wrote an essay and entered the contest......and you won't believe it....he won of course!!!! I was soooo happy for him!!! The chevelle was picked up and shipped to Canada where the "surgery" would take place.
After that (in fall) she was taken to Las Vegas -> to the SEMA show (had no clue what that was at that time. It's one of the biggest car shows). She was revealed and Eric almost burst of happiness.

The four beauties! Aunt Connie, Pat, Vicki and Michelle (sorry...we forgot our bathing suits!).

Congratulations, honey!!!
He took his new girlfriend all over Richmond and of course to several shows and tours,....which gave me some precious me-time with popcorn, chick flics and mani/pedis!!!
She is really loud and uncomfortable now so that I was complaining constantly about her. After Eric couldn't hear my nagging anymore he got me earmuffs (the kind men on construction sites wear), a seat cushion and a blanket for my feet (since all the cold air is set to the feet space....is that what you call it?). So....nothing to complain about anymore.....well....I look like the queen of dorktown when we go for a ride in his beloved girlfriend.
